As the year draws to a close, CHRISTENINGsilver.com has reviewed the range of Christening gifts ordered from the CHRISTENINGsilver website during 2008. Christening gifts for boys have proved particularly popular in the last 12 months and we publish below the five most requested boys Christening gifts of the year:

Our feature hallmarked Silver Cufflinks came in as the number one Christening gift for boys. These are a great Christening or baptism present that will see a lifetime's use. As a result we will be extending our cufflink range in 2009 and adding an engraving service for personalised cufflinks.

Second came a rather tongue-in-cheek gift for the boy that will have everything. A Silver Chip Fork was a relatively inexpensive Christening gift with a touch of wit.

This next Christening gift came first in our top five chart last year, but has dropped to number three. Still a great present for that special godson, our Silver St Christopher is a wonderful, affordable present redolent with meaning and hope for the future.

Silver Christening Tankards have been popular Christening gifts for boys since the Victorian era. This Christening Tankard is top of our Christening Cups and Tankards list, but come fourth overall.
