We take pride in dispatching your purchase swiftly and reliably via the “Royal Mail Airsure” or the “Royal Mail International Signed For” delivery services. Both services receive priority handling.

As a customer from the USA, you will receive a refund of the UK Value Added Tax (VAT) – UK VAT is currently 17.5%

All prices displayed on this site include VAT so, in a nutshell … after your refund, you will end up being charged less than the price shown on this website.

Your refund will be automatically deducted at checkout.

We do however charge £6.00 ($12.00 approx) for delivery to the USA. In the majority of cases this is a lot less than the value of your refund.

- - - DELIVERY TO FRIENDS & RELATIVES IN THE UK - - -

We often take orders from customers in the USA who wish to send their gift to godchildren or grandchildren in the UK. This is easily achieved. Simply contact us direct via email or fill in the enquiry form on our Contact Us page and identify the gift you are interested in. We will email you by return and guide you through the easy order process. If you wish, we will even include gift wrap and a personal greetings card with your own message in the package. The VAT tax refund is not available for deliveries within the UK.

- - - ROYAL MAIL DELIVERY SERVICES TO THE US - - -

As explained above, there is an additional cost for overseas delivery. In most cases the delivery cost will be a lot less than the value of your VAT refund.

You can choose either "Royal Mail Airsure" or "Royal Mail International Signed For" delivery services. Your package will receive priority handling. You will also receive a TRACK & TRACE 13 digit code via email so that you can track the progress of your delivery.

Royal Mail Airsure is the faster service, but no signature is required on delivery - Your postal service will scan the parcel for electronic confirmation of delivery.

The US CBP may require a payment of duty on gifts purchased from CHRISTENINGsilver.com being shipped to the USA. The tariff varies from 0% for some bibles to 3% for some silver goods. We are unable to identify the exact tariff for each item, but we believe that in the majority of cases your VAT tax refund will cover the duty charged.
